Belgian Bearded d’Uccle Bantams

My very first pure bred chickens and still my favorite are the Belgian Bearded d’Uccles. I started with a pair of Porcelains moved on to Mille Fleur, and now also have Black, Blue, White and Golden Necks.
We attended the 2006 Grand Nationsl Poultry Show in Indianpolis, IN. We swept the white d’Uccle variety, with Best and Reserve of Variety and Best pullet and cockrel. We also got Best of Variety in Black with a pullet who also got 5th best overall. 
D’Uccles have a straight comb, beard and very large stiff feathers on their feet. They lay a nice sized egg (for a bantam) and are good sitters.
