Advanced Soap Making – Saturday, June 20, 2026 – 1 to 4 PM

This class will focus on learning how to use the SoapCalc online soap calculator to create soap recipes from scratch. We’ll walk through all the steps in using soap calculators and students will create their own unique recipes for a 1 lb batch of soap that they’ll make in class and take home.

We’ll also discuss and explore some more advanced soap making techniques such as using the heat transfer method (versus waiting for your lye solution to cool down) as well as master batching lye solution and rebatching soap that you’ve made.

Students must have completed our Beginning Soap Making class or have prior soap making experience and are comfortable and knowledgeable about safely working with lye solution when making soap.
