Advanced Soap Making – Sunday, September 14, 2025 – 1 to 4 PM

The first half of this advanced soap making class will focus on learning how to use the SoapCalc online soap calculator to create soap recipes from scratch. We’ll walk through all the steps in using soap calculators and students will create their own unique recipes for a 1 lb batch of soap that you’ll make in class and take home.

The second half of class will be dedicated to creating colored and swirled soaps. We’ll discuss tips and techniques and each student will get to make their own swirled creation in a 1 lb batch of soap to take home.

Students must have completed our Beginning Soap Making class or have prior soap making experience and are comfortable and knowledgeable about safely working with lye solution when making soap.
