Intermediate Soap Making – Sunday, November 16, 2025 – 1 to 4 PM

This intermediate soap making class will build on the basics learned in the beginning class and explore more advanced topics such as making soap with goat’s milk (or any other milk), how to make hot process soap using a crockpot and how to make exfoliating soap salt bars with a superfat recipe.

We’ll make a 5 lb batch of hot process soap in a crockpot and students will also make their own individual 1 lb batches of goat milk soap. We’ll also make an exfoliating salt bar recipe and discuss various additives that can be used including salt, sugar, honey and infused herbs.

Students must have completed our Beginning Soap Making class or have prior soap making experience and are comfortable and knowledgeable about safely working with lye solution when making soap.
